Austroplant Symbioflor Enterococcus Drops 50 ml

Enterococcus faecalis - Bacteria are live bacteria that have a beneficial effect on the immune system.

Symbioflor Enterococcus is used to reduce the recurrence rate of recurring infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, especially inflammation of the sinuses and bronchi.

Contraindications

Symbioflor Enterococcus must not be taken,

• if you are allergic to Enterococcus faecalis bacteria or any of the other ingredients of Symbioflor Enterococcus (listed in section 6).
• if the body's immune system is weakened (e.g. HIV/AIDS).

interactions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or might take/use any other medicines.

Antibiotics can inhibit Enterococcus faecalis bacteria and thus reduce the effectiveness of this medicine. Before taking Symbioflor Enterococcus at the same time as antibiotics, you should consult your doctor.

pregnancy and breast feeding period

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Although teratogenic effects of Symbioflor Enterococcus are not known, it should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after a careful risk/benefit assessment by the doctor.

application

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

• Adults: 30 drops 3 times a day.
• Children and young people: adapt accordingly, e.g. B. 20 drops 3 times a day.

Keep the drops in your mouth for about a minute and gargle with them before swallowing. It is taken in the morning after getting up, at noon before eating and in the evening before going to bed.

The duration of use depends on the state of the disease and can be up to 6 months in the case of chronic infections. Do not take Symbioflor Enterococcus for more than 6 months without medical advice.

side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The following side effects may occur:

Very rare (affects less than 1 user in 10,000):

• headache
• Dry mouth, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
• Skin reactions: hives, itching, rash, painful persistent swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (angioedema)

The active substance is: Bacterial culture (1.0 ml) with Enterococcus faecalis bacteria (DSM 16440, cells and autolysate) corresponding to 1.5 to 4.5 x 107 living cells
1 ml = 12 drops

Excipients: Lactose Monohydrate, L-Cystine, Sodium Carbonate Decahydrate, Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Chloride Dihydrate, Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate, Standard I Broth (Peptone [from Casein], Dry Yeast Extract, Sodium Chloride, Glucose monohydrate) and purified water
