Balonix honey, a medical device, is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of abdominal gas accumulation disorders in young children. Relieves astringent abdominal pain, infantile colic or winds due to trapped air. It can be given from birth.
Simethicone, a functional component of Balonix honey, mechanically acts on gases in the digestive tract. It disrupts the surface of tiny gas bubbles and allows them to coalesce into larger bubbles that your child can easily release like winds. Simethicone is not absorbed into the body, it leaves the body unchanged.
The contents of the package are 50 ml.
Dosage and method of use
Shake the bottle before use. The usual dose of 0.5 ml is given before each feeding. For best results, Balonix honey should be used for several days. Regular use prevents the accumulation of abdominal gas. If after 3 to 4 days it seems that your child is still suffering, you can double the dose to 1 ml.
Proper dosing is indicated by lines on the measuring cup included in the package. With a measuring cup, take Balonix honey from the bottle and put the active substance directly into the baby's mouth or into the feeding bottle.
Ingredients
The functional ingredient is simethicone 40 mg / ml. Other ingredients are: hydroxyethylcellulose, sorbic acid, liquid orange flavor, sodium saccharin, deionized water.
