Bano Arlberger Helopanzym 50 Dragees

Due to the ingredients pancreatin, dried pig bile and pepsin contained in Helopanzym®, a deficiency in the enzymes amylase, lipase and protease in digestion is compensated. Pancreatin and dried pork bile support fat digestion by improving the breakdown of dietary fats, pepsin is used for protein digestion. The daily dose of the active ingredients is 150 mg pancreatin, 50 mg dried pig bile and 19 mg pepsin for one dragee. The gastric juice-soluble dragee shell contains pepsin, which in the presence of gastric acid can initiate the pre-digestion of protein-containing food components. In the core of the dragee, protected by an enteric coating, the acid-sensitive pancreatin enzymes and the bile active substances are processed. They are only released in the small intestine.

application

Always use Helopanzym® exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Unless otherwise discussed with your doctor or pharmacist, swallow 1 to 2 dragees whole with plenty of liquid during or shortly after a meal. If there is a special need, the dosage can be increased to up to 4 dragees for a short time. If necessary, 1-2 additional dragees can also be taken before going to bed to achieve an undisturbed night's sleep
