Bronchostop Anti-Cold Syrup 120 ml

Traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve symptoms of an early cold such as fever, throat irritation and associated dry cough, and nighttime coughing.

The polysaccharides of the marshmallow root and the plantain leaves relieve irritation of the mucous membranes and thus cough irritation during the day and night-time cough irritation. The ingredients of the linden blossom have a sweat-inducing effect and thereby relieve feverish colds and also have a slightly calming effect.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated areas of application because it has been used for many years.

This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children over 4 years of age. If you do not feel better or worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

Contraindications

Do not take BRONCHOSTOP cold juice if you are allergic to marshmallow root, linden blossom, plantain or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

In the absence of sufficient data, the use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

application

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:
15 ml (according to the marking on the measuring cup) up to 4 times a day (total daily dose up to 60 ml). The last dose should be taken just before bedtime.

Children from 4 to 11 years:
7.5 ml (according to the markings on the measuring cup) 3 to 4 times a day (total daily dose up to 30 ml). The last dose should be taken just before bedtime.

Method of administration:
For oral use. BRONCHOSTOP cold juice is taken undiluted. It is recommended not to drink for ½ to 1 hour after ingestion.

A measuring cup is included.

Duration of use:
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

Use in children
Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

There are no known side effects.

The active ingredients are: 15 ml (= 16.3 g) contain:

• 187.5 mg dry extract of marshmallow root (Althaeae radix), drug extract ratio (DEV) 7-9:1, extractant: water
• 136.4 mg dry extract of lime blossom (Tiliae flos), DEV 3-8:1, extractant: water
• 150.0 mg dry extract of plantain leaves (Plantaginis lanceolatae folium), DEV 4- 6:1, extractant: water
