Coldamaris Plus nasal spray 20 ml

The nose is the most common route of infection for viruses that trigger colds (flu infections). Flu infections are caused by viruses such as rhinoviruses. If cold viruses have penetrated the nose, they can attach themselves to the mucous membrane. This is where the viruses multiply and spread. Coldamaris plus nasal spray contains the active ingredient iota-carrageenan (Carragelose®) obtained from red algae and additionally kappa-carrageenan. Carragelose® has a double positive effect: it coats cold viruses non-specifically and prevents them from adhering to the mucous membranes. This reduces the multiplication and spread of viruses responsible for respiratory infections. Carragelose® also stabilizes the natural moisture film on the nasal mucosa and ensures long-lasting moisture. The physiological moisture film promoted in this way acts as a physical barrier against external influences and supports the body's natural defense function.

Coldamaris plus can also shorten or reduce the duration of virus-related cold symptoms and reduce a flare-up of virus-related cold symptoms.

In addition, Coldamaris plus is used to continuously moisten the nasal mucosa and thus to prevent and support the treatment of all complaints resulting from dry or irritated nasal mucosa.

Coldamaris plus is sterile and contains no preservatives. Thanks to the special filter system of the spray attachment, the solution remains sterile even after repeated use.

Suitable for use in children and young people aged 1 year and over and adults.
