CUTIMED SILTEC B silicone foam dressing 7x10cm 10pcs
CUTIMED SILTEC B silicone foam dressing 7x10cm 10pcs
Cutimed Siltec B Oval Foam Cover with Silicone Adhesive Edge 7 x 10 cm 10 pcs is a sterile absorbent cover made of silicone-coated polyurethane foam, with superabsorbent strips that increase absorption capacity and lock exudate. The contact layer allows adhesion to the skin surrounding the wound, but not to the moist wound bed or newly formed epithelial tissue. The additional silicone adhesive edge enables safe and gentle fixation.
The Cutimed Siltec B range is intended for exuding wounds such as: venous and arterial ulcers, decubitus ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical incisions, skin grafts and donor sites, lacerations or abrasions. Cutimed Siltec B is recommended for wounds with low to high levels of exudate.
- Self-adhesive silicone edge - Self-adhesive silicone edge with low allergenic potential keeps the cover in place and allows for easy application.
- Adapts to the anatomy of the body - Good flexibility and adaptability to different parts of the body - applies especially to the oval shape of the cover. The cover can also be trimmed to size.
- Shower Resistant - The highly breathable, water-repellent backing protects the cover and even allows you to shower without having to remove or change the cover.
- Reliable exudate management - Vertical absorption ensures that exudate is reliably captured and kept inside the cover, even under compression. Superabsorbent strips increase absorption capacity.
- Gentle on the wound bed - Perforated silicone contact layer, which is gentle on the skin, prevents adhesion to the newly formed tissue, protects the wound edges and ensures an atraumatic, less painful dressing change.
Cutimed Siltec B can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound condition and coverage saturation. Initially, it is recommended to change the cover every 24 hours and move to less frequent changes as needed.
The package contains 10 covers.
