Dulcolax 10 mg 6 suppositories

Dulcolax suppositories is a locally acting laxative. It acts in the large intestine, where it increases peristalsis (wavy movement of intestinal walls) and softens stool. Dulcolax suppositories facilitate emptying in constipation . It is used for a short time in patients suffering from constipation. Dulcolax suppositories are designed for adults, adolescents and children from the age of 10 years.

Dosage

Adults use one suppository for immediate effect, maximum once a day.
Usually, the suppositories are effective in about 10 to 30 minutes. The suppository should first be removed from the blister and then inserted into the rectum. Adolescents and children over 10 years use one suppository for immediate effect, maximum once a day.
For children 2 to 10 years of age, DULCOLAX is available in a different formulation and strength (gastro-resistant tablets).
The product is intended for short-term administration. Do not use the product for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
