E-Stim 2B Digital Link Set

The Digital Link Interface is a USB powered digital interface system. It has been designed to allow you to connect your 2B directly to your computer via USB. It comes with a USB Memory Stick containing instructions (in English) on how to install the Digital Link Interface Cable along with various drivers (e.g. Commander 3, E-Stim Connect..) which will then allow you to control the 2B via a PC or Mac, while UpLink2 allows you to update your 2B to the latest firmware.

UPLINK2 

Uplink2™ software is included as part of the Digital Link System and allows you to upgrade your 2B. To do this you need the link drivers, the Digital Link System and the Uplink software. Once everything is up and running, you can download the latest firmware and install it via your PC or Mac.

UpLink2 software is included with the Digital Link interface. It is not available separately. Do not attempt to use older versions of UpLink. They WILL NOT work with the new firmware files.

USB digital connection

To use the 2B with the link cable, you must ensure that your 2B is running at least software version 2.07. To update using UpLink, you must have the bootloader installed and have at least firmware version 2.104.

Many 2B controllers with older software versions do not have the additional hardware needed to work properly with the connection.

The USB Link is designed to work with 2B only. It will not work with any of our current controllers.

The Digital Link Interface contains all the additional electronics to connect the 2B to a PC or Mac with a spare USB connection.

Bootloader

The bootloader is a small program located on your 2B that is only used when updating the main firmware (the program that controls the 2B itself). Older versions of the 2B prior to firmware version 2.104 do not have a bootloader, so you must install one first.
