What is ERAPATCH?
ERAPATCH is the first and only cold sore patch with hyaluronic acid on the Austrian market. The wound is not only covered and protected, but also moistened by the hyaluronic acid contained in the adhesive layer, thus promoting healing.
Who works ERAPATCH?
The patch's soft polyurethane disk contains a hypoallergenic adhesive to which hyaluronic acid is added. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to retain large amounts of water, allowing moisture to build up under the patch and promoting wound healing and relieving itching for 12 hours. In addition, the plaster forms a protective barrier against environmental influences. This can reduce the risk of infection and protect the skin from scarring.
When to use ERAPATCH?
ERAPATCH can be used at any stage of a cold sore outbreak. The use of ERAPATCH is particularly useful if you have missed the time to use an antiviral cold sore cream, such as ERAZABAN®. This is the case when clear blisters are already visible (usually from the 2nd or 3rd day after the first signs). Using the plaster reduces the risk of infection and scratching of the blisters. Pain, itching and a feeling of tension subside.
How long should one use ERAPATCH?
ERAPATCH should ideally be used around the clock until the cold sores have healed. The patch usually falls off after about 12 hours and should then be replaced with a new patch.
Is ERAPATCH skin-friendly?
ERAPATCH is dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and can therefore also be used on sensitive skin.
Can you put makeup on ERAPTACH?
ERAPATCH can be covered with lipstick or make-up, making the barely visible patch almost invisible.
How to use ERAPATCH?
Wash your hands before applying the patch. Make sure that there are no cream residues on the affected area and that the skin is dry so that the patch can stick well. Open the protective pouch and pull out the patch by lifting the opposite edge of the holder. Place half of the patch on the affected area and release the other half to allow the patch to fully adhere to the cold sore. Wear the patch until it comes off by itself. Repeat the application until the cold sore has healed.
