Effipro duo is a spot-on solution for medium dogs (10-20 kg) against fleas and ticks CONTENTS OF ACTIVE AND OTHER SUBSTANCES Each pipette 1.34 ml contains: Active substances: Fipronilum 134 mg, Pyriproxyfenum 40.2 mg Others substances: Butylhydroxyanisole (E 320) 0.268 mg, Butylhydroxytoluene (E 321) 0.134 mg Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth regulator (IGR) from the group of substances known as juvenile hormone analogues. Contact with the molecule prevents the formation of adults by blocking the development of eggs (ovicidal effect), larvae and pupae (larvicidal effect), which are subsequently removed.
 
The combination of fipronil and pyriproxyfen provides an insecticidal and acaricidal effect against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus turanicus, Ixodes ricinus) and also prevents the development of adult fleas from eggs.
This combination provides comprehensive protection against flea infestation, which can be used against flea infestation alone or in conjunction with ticks.
