ellaOne
ellaOne 30 mg 1 tablet
ellaOne 30 mg 1 tablet
EllaOne is an emergency contraceptive that reduces the possibility of getting pregnant after unprotected sex . It can be used up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sexual intercourse or failure of the usual contraceptive method. The most effective administration is within 24 hours. The mechanism of action is the blocking or shifting of ovulation by suppressing the rise of luteinizing hormone (LH), thereby preventing potential fertilization of the egg. ellaOne is not an "abortion pill."
EllaOne does not prevent pregnancy in any case. The ovulation time cannot be predicted, so it is necessary to take the tablet as soon as possible after unprotected sex. If ovulation has already occurred, the product is not effective.
Dosage:
Take 1 tablet orally as soon as possible, but not later than 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure.
You can take the tablet at any time during the menstrual cycle. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet, another tablet should be taken. If menstruation is delayed or signs of pregnancy are present, pregnancy should be excluded before the tablet is given.
Composition:
Ulipristal acetate 30 mg per tablet.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
Notice:
EllaOne is only used in emergencies. If your menstruation is delayed for more than 5 days or is weak or unusually strong, contact your doctor immediately. If you become pregnant despite taking this medicine, it is important to see your doctor. It is not intended for use during pregnancy and should not be used by any woman who suspects or knows that she is pregnant.
