Espumisan drops are used to treat symptoms of digestive problems caused by gases such as bloating (meteorism), flatulence and feeling full. Espumisan acts as an antifoaming agent in the digestive tract. The active substance reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles contained in food and on the mucous membrane of the digestive tract. Espumisan drops are intended for all ages.

What are the symptoms of bloating?

• excessive exit of gases, rumbling in the intestines
• pain, tension and bloating of the abdomen (accumulation of gases)
• less often to heart palpitations and increased blood pressure (pressure on the diaphragm)

Adults and adolescents take 20 drops 3-5 times a day. Children from 6 to 14 years take 10-20 drops 3-5 times a day. Children from 1 year to 6 years should be given 10 drops 3-5 times a day. Take with food, after meals or before bedtime. For infants, add 5-10 drops to each bottle of baby food or give a small spoon immediately before each feeding. The duration of treatment depends on the course of difficulties. Do not take the medicine for more than 2 weeks without consulting your doctor.

The active substance is simethicone 100 mg in 1 ml oral emulsion.

The other ingredients are macrogol stearate, glycerol monostearate 40-55, sorbic acid (E200), sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment) (E524), sodium chloride, carbomers, sodium citrate dihydrate (E331), sucralose (E955), purified water.
