Gastrotuss tablets is a medical device with mechanical action, designed to treat gastroesophageal reflux. Relieves symptoms of the disease such as heartburn. It helps the healing of the disturbed mucous membrane of the pharynx and esophagus.
It contains magnesium alginate, substances of plant origin that are obtained from seaweed. In the acidic environment of the stomach, the alginate forms a gel barrier on the surface of the gastric pond, but it does not disturb important processes taking place in the body (e.g. mechanisms of digestion, absorption of important nutrients, influence on stool, etc.). Other active ingredients are simethicone acting against flatulence.
Tablets soothe irritation, ward off unpleasant burning sensation and cough irritation, reduce bloating and belching, and have regenerating and anti-inflammatory effects. Gastrotuss tablets shorten the time that gastric contents remain in the stomach.
Suitable for adults, children from 12 years of age, pregnant and lactating women.
It does not contain gluten or lactose.
