1. What Humex Cold is and what it is used for

Humex Cold is a combination medicine that contains two active substances and works by two different mechanisms:

- paracetamol acts against pain (analgesia) and fever (antipyretic). After one dose, it takes about 3-4 hours to reduce the temperature, for up to 6 hours to treat pain;

- Chlorpheneamine maleate has a so-called antihistamine effect that reduces nasal discharge and often associated lacrimation. This effect lasts for 4 to 8 hours.

This medicinal product is for the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections (nose, throat) associated with a colorless nasal discharge, headache, or fever. It can be used as part of the treatment of inflammation of the nasal sinuses.

The product may be taken by adults and adolescents over 15 years of age without the advice of a physician. If there is no rhythm or fever illness in the upper respiratory tract to improve symptoms within 3 days, further treatment with the doctor should be sought.
