Her recipe uses potato starch instead of eggs. Potato starch is a resistant type 2 starch that can reduce insulin resistance, burn fats and reduce hunger. It does not have the same effect on blood sugar as boiled potatoes and therefore is considered 

Keto friendly.

Environmental care

Mayonnaise is in recyclable glass containers with paper labels. The olives from which the contained olive oil is made come from old olive groves in Spain, where olives are harvested during the day so that collectors do not disturb wild animals and nesting birds.

This range of mayonnaise was created because of customers who cannot eat eggs due to intolerance or their preferences. The goal of Hunter & Gather was to produce creamy taste mayonnaise, free of allergens, inflammatory fats, added sugar or artificial chemical preservatives.

Instead of egg yolks used by Hunter & Gather in its line of egg-based mayonnaise, potato starch is added. This resistant starch has a low impact on blood sugar levels. Mayonnaise contains only 100% olive oil from Spain. It is a light olive oil without hexane and solvents. It is pressed by mechanical means, without chemical extraction.

Product testing

Although these eggless mayonnaises are not BIO certified, each batch of oil before use Hunter & Gather laboratory tests for the presence of heavy metals, toxins and pesticides.  

Are you on a special diet or allergic?

• Thanks to the high content of healthy fats, low carbohydrate content and zero added sugar content, mayonnaises are also suitable for this diet. They contain potato starch, but it is one of the resistant starches and is widely accepted as a component in this lifestyle.
• Mayonnaises are not marked as suitable for a paleo diet, due to the controversy over whether potatoes can be classified as paleo foods. However, they are in the products only real foods with minimal processing are used (everything is processed only by a large rod mixer).  
• Mayonnaise is made without any of the 14 major allergens! However, we recommend that you study the composition thoroughly anyway so that you can decide for yourself whether this recipe is suitable for you.
• Due to the low sugar content (less than 0.6 g of sugar per 100 g), these mayonnaise suitable for diabetics.
