Hyalo4 Non Adhesive Foam 10x10 cm non-adhesive foam cover is a sterile wound cover made of hydrophilic, absorbent, polyurethane foam designed to absorb exudate. Foam maintains a moist environment that facilitates wound healing with a medium to high exudation rate.

The outer layer of the cover is made of a pink, waterproof, polyurethane foil with low friction, which creates a bacterial barrier. The perforated layer that comes into contact with the wound allows the exudate to be absorbed and prevents maceration of the skin caused by excess fluid. The perforated layer, which comes into contact with the skin, protects the wound bed from adhering to the dressing. This prevents the formation of granulation tissue in the pores of the foam and reduces trauma when removing the cover.

Dosage and method of use

Hyalo4 Non Adhesive Foam can remain in-situ for up to 7 days depending on the patient's condition and the degree of exudation. Initially, it may be necessary to regularly inspect the wound or dressing and change it in accordance with good wound care practices.

Ingredients

Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to polyurethane films or foams.
Do not use with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide, as this may decompose the absorbent polyurethane component of the cover.
Not intended for surgical implants.
