Hyalo4 Silicone Adhesive Border Foam Dressing is a sterile wound dressing made of hydrophilic, absorbent, polyurethane foam designed to absorb exudate during the healing of chronic and acute wounds with a medium to high degree of exudation.

The dressing maintains a moist environment that facilitates the healing of wounds with a medium to high degree of exudation.

Hyalo 4 ensures a gentle but safe adhesion to the skin with minimal tearing of the epidermis and pain when removed.
The dressing can be used for the following wounds: bedsores, venous and arterial ulcers of the lower limbs, diabetic ulcers, postoperative surgical wounds, skin abrasions, traumatic wounds, superficial and second degree burns and cavity wounds as a secondary cover.

Dosage and method of use

The silicone cover can remain in-situ for up to 7 days depending on the patient's condition and the degree of exudation. More frequent replacement of dressings may be required or according to good wound care practice.

Notice

Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to polyurethane films, foams or silicone.
Do not use with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide, as this may decompose the absorbent polyurethane component of the cover.
Not intended for surgical implants.
