Jox Concentrate for gargle preparation 100 ml

Jox gargle concentrate has a disinfectant and anti-inflammatory effect against bacteria, fungi and some viruses. Jox is suitable for the treatment of sore throat or pain in the throat of the first symptoms of influenza. It is also used in mild inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa (eg aphthae), tongue, pharynx and tonsils. Jox is for adults, adolescents and children from the age of 6 years.

Dosage

Adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age use the diluted product (1:20 or 1:40) to rinse their mouths or gargle 2-4 times a day, at least 4 hours apart from the previous application, but no more than 6 times a day. Do not use the medicine for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor. Children from 6 years of age should only use the product if they are able to gargle the solution without swallowing or inhaling the solution. Children 6 to 12 years of age should only be given the advice of a doctor.

Ingredients

The active substances are povidone iodinate 85 mg and allantoin 1 mg in 1 ml.

The other ingredients are levomenthol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, ethanol 96%, propylene glycol, purified water.

Notice

Jox contains propylene glycol, which may cause mucosal irritation. It also contains 18.6% ethanol.
