Characteristics:
KERASAL ointment is a preparation to be treated skin disorders manifesting with over-wrinkled hardened skin and peeling of the skin. 
 
Indications: 
KERASAL ointment softens and removes peeling spots on the affected skin.

It is used to treat scaly skin, rough horn layers of the skin of the hands and feet, and wrinkled eczema. For example, it is intended for the treatment of psoriasis (psoriasis), ichthyosis (skin disorder with hay fever), seborrheic eczema (skin diseases associated with the formation of yellowish oily scales, most commonly in the face and hair) and chronic atopic eczema prolonged allergic inflammation). 
 
KERASAL can be used by adults, adolescents and children of all ages. Infants and patients with impaired renal function may use KERASAL for a short time and on small areas (about 10 cm in diameter) only after consultation with a physician. 

It can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, except for breasts. 
 
Contraindication:
KERASAL should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. It must not be applied to the area of ​​the eyes and mucous membranes. During breastfeeding, KERASAL should not be used in breasts. 

Infants and patients with impaired renal function may use KERASAL for only a short time and on small areas (about 10 cm in diameter). 

Undesirable effects:
KERASAL may cause side effects such as mild irritation of treated areas with reddening of the skin, burning sensation, especially when used for acute skin disorders. Hypersensitivity reactions such as redness and itching at the application site may occur. The reaction will soon disappear after discontinuation of the product, but the next procedure should be discussed with the treating physician.
If any other unusual reactions occur, talk to your doctor. 
 
Interaction:
KERASAL may increase the absorption of another external agent and may affect the effect of other medicines. Check with the attending physician about the suitability of using other recipe products or retailers at the same time. 
 
Dosage and method of administration: 
Unless otherwise specified by the physician, KERASALse is applied 1-2 times a day to the affected sites. For hand treatment, ointment should be applied after each wash. KERASAL is removed with warm water. 
 
Caution: 
If the symptoms of the disease do not improve or worsen within 2 weeks of initiation of treatment, or if you experience side effects or unusual reactions, discontinue existing therapy and consult your doctor for further use.

In case of accidental ingestion by a child, consult a physician. 

Do not take more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor. 
 
Storage:
The product does not require any special storage conditions. 
 
Warning:
KERASAL must not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. KERASAL must be kept out of the reach and sight of children.
