Klosterfrau Array Icelandic Moss Thyme Cough Syrup 200 ml

Traditional herbal medicinal product for clearing mucus and relieving irritation associated with a cough associated with a cold. This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated areas of application because it has been used for many years.

This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children over 4 years of age. If you do not feel better or worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

Contraindications

Do not take Klosterfrau Thyme Icelandic Moss cough syrup if you are allergic to thyme or any member of the mint family, Icelandic Moss or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended as medical advice should be sought.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. In the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and breast-feeding is not recommended.

There are no data on the effects on fertility.

application

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents from 12 years: 15 ml 3-4 times a day

Children between 4 and 12 years: 10 ml 3 times a day

side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Hypersensitivity reactions and gastrointestinal complaints have been observed with medicinal products containing thyme. The frequency of occurrence is not known (cannot be estimated from the available data).

At the first sign of a hypersensitivity reaction, Klosterfrau Thymian-Isländisch Moos cough syrup should not be taken again.

composition

The active ingredients are (per 100 ml): 5 g thyme thick extract (DEV 2 - 4 : 1, extracting agent water), 1.1 g Icelandic moss thick extract (DEV 3 - 7 : 1, extracting agent water).

The other ingredients are: maltitol solution, potassium sorbate, purified water.
