Wound gel based on Ringer's solution with 0.04% polyhexanide . It suppresses the growth of microorganisms in wound dressings and in the gel itself. Ringer's solution is a physiological, isotonic electrolyte solution with very good tissue tolerance. Using an isotonic solution prevents swelling of the skin and irritation of the wound. Polyhexanide is an antiseptic with a broad spectrum of effectiveness against bacteria, yeast and some types of fungi . The combination of Ringer's solution with polyhexanide at a concentration of 0.04% has been shown to have very good tissue tolerance . The formation of new healthy tissue is not limited and the use is painless for the patient.

Ringer's solution (isotonic electrolyte solution consisting of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride 2 H2O, water for injection), glycerin, macrogol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, polyhexanide 0.04%.

Apply Lavanid Wound Gel to the wound or cover it with a bandage as usual. The wound gel remains until the next wound dressing. For optimal wound moisturization, it is recommended to increase the amount of Lavanid wound gel with longer intervals between dressings.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product, in the area of ​​cartilage and joints.
