Lomexin 600 mg 1 vaginal capsule

Lomexin 600 mg is used to treat inflammation of the vagina and external genitals caused by yeast microorganisms, especially Candida. Yeast infections are manifested by itching and redness in the area of the vagina and vulva, burning, swelling and soreness of the vaginal tissues, and whitish, lumpy discharge, odorless. Lomexin vaginal capsule is intended for adolescent girls from 16 years of age and adult women.

Inject 1 vaginal capsule deep into the vagina in the evening before going to bed. One-day treatment is usually sufficient. If symptoms of infection persist, a second dose may be given three days after the first dose. If symptoms persist even after 7 days from the start of treatment, it is necessary to consult a doctor about further action.

The active substance is fenticonazole nitrate 600 mg per vaginal capsule.

Additional components are: liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly, soy lecithin. The capsule shell contains: gelatine, glycerol, titanium dioxide (E 171), ethyl parahydroxybenzoate sodium (E 215), propyl parahydroxybenzoate sodium (E 218).

Do not use when allergic to any of the ingredients of the product. The product contains ethyl parahydroxybenzoate propyl parahydroxybenzoate which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). For vaginal use only. Fats and oils contained in vaginal capsules can damage contraceptives made from latex. It is recommended to use other contraceptives for the duration of treatment.
