Mastic is obtained as a resin from the Pistacia lentiscus tree on the Greek island of Chios. In addition to chewing, it is used as a raw material in pharmacy, perfumery, cosmetics and in the preparation of food and beverages.

It is recommended to drink clean water before consumption. Initially, chew the mastic only with the front teeth until you form a solid mass similar to ordinary chewing gum. Combine crystals of different sizes. The recommended dosage is 2-3 grams, which corresponds to 6-10 pieces of large crystals.
