MAXI-KALZ contains calcium in a form suitable for oral administration. Adequate calcium intake is necessary for bone and tooth growth and for the normal function of cell membranes, nerves and muscles. Calcium is also used to treat some allergic conditions. The normal daily requirement of calcium is between 500-1500 mg. It is used without a doctor's recommendation to cover the increased need for calcium during growth, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
On the recommendation of a doctor, it is used as part of a treatment for thinning of the bones (osteoporosis) and softening of the bones (osteomalacia), allergic reactions, and supportive treatment of spasmophilia and tetanus syndrome (increased nervous irritability with a tendency to muscle cramps).
The pack contains 10 tablets.

Dosage and method of use

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Adults take one effervescent tablet once a day (equivalent to 1000 mg of calcium per day). Children take one effervescent tablet once a day (equivalent to 1000 mg of calcium per day). The effervescent tablets must be dissolved in a glass (about 1/4 liter) of water just before use. Drink the solution prepared immediately. Take with or just after food.

Ingredients

The active substance is calcium carbonate. Each effervescent tablet contains 2500 mg calcium carbonate, equivalent to 1000 mg calcium. The other ingredients are anhydrous citric acid, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, lemon flavor powder (contains sorbitol).

Contraindication

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
