Medicamenta Calcii Carbonici 0.5, 50 tablets

Calcii carbonici 0,5 tbl. is a calcium-containing medicine. The product is intended for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency (hypocalcaemia) due to insufficient dietary intake or increased need.

Calcii carbonici 0.5 tablets can be used during  pregnancy and lactation , fracture healing and in the elderly to prevent fracture (concomitant with vitamin D), long-term corticoid therapy, calcium metabolism disorders, allergic diseases mainly due to congenital disposition (eg atopic eczema), convulsions, rickets (rachitis), bone softening (osteomalacia), bone thinning (osteoporosis), allergic rhinitis and various skin diseases (dermatoses). It is suitable for adults, adolescents and children.

Dosage

Adults take 2-4 tablets a day for preventive use; Children are given ½-1 tablet daily. Without consulting your doctor, the tablets can be used for prevention for 7-10 days, then it is advisable to consult your doctor for further treatment.

Ingredients

The active substance is 0.5 g of calcium carbonate per tablet. The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, wheat starch, gelatin, talc, magnesium stearate.
