MILUPA UCD 3 Advanta is a dietary food for special medical purposes. A mixture of essential amino acids with vitamins, minerals and trace elements, in powder. Intended for dietary procedure in urea cycle disorders in adolescents from 15 years of age and adults. For enteral use only. For use under medical supervision only. Not suitable as the only source of nutrition. Designed exclusively for patients with urea cycle disorders. Diet with Milupa UCD 3 Advanta must contain adequate amounts of energy, essential fatty acids and protein to cover their daily needs.

Dosage and method of use

The dosage recommendations will be determined by a physician or a specialist in clinical nutrition, depending on the age, body weight and state of health of the patient. The daily dose must be adjusted regularly under the supervision of a specialist. The recommended daily amount should be evenly divided into 3 to 5 servings throughout the day. Serve mixed with the calculated amount of other foods or beverages (e.g. water, fruit juice, fruit puree).

MILUPA UCD 3 Advanta contains L-leucine, L-lysine acetate, L-phenylalanine, maltodextrin, L-valine, L-isoleucine, L-methionine, L-threonine, dipotassium phosphate, calcium carbonate, L-histidine, choline bitartrate, L-tryptophan, magnesium citrate, magnesium carbonate, inositol, L-ascorbic acid, L-carnitine, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, dicalcium phosphate, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, manganese sulfate, calcium D-pantothenate, copper sulphate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, sodium fluoride, riboflavin, retinyl acetate, chromium (II) chloride, potassium iodide, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, ammonium molybdate, sodium selenite, vitamin K1, D-biotin, vitamin D3, cyanocobalamin.
