Mobiflex 1% pain spray 50 ml
Mobiflex pain spray contains the antirheumatic drug indomethacin. The substance is absorbed through the skin after external application of the solution and has an anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and swelling-reducing effect on the affected area. Pain and feelings of tension subside and mobility improves.
Mobiflex pain spray is used for external, symptomatic treatment:
- for pain and swelling after blunt injuries, muscle tension and lumbago.
- in inflammatory soft tissue rheumatism such as tendonitis or tendonitis
If you don't feel better or feel worse after three days, contact your doctor.
Contraindications
Mobiflex pain spray must not be used
- if you are allergic to indomethacin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6
- if you have other pain
- if you are taking certain anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs)
- on open wounds, inflammation or infections of the skin or mucous membranes, eczema or eyes
- if you are 6 to 9 months pregnant
- if you are breastfeeding (for a long time and over a large area)
- in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age), as there are insufficient data on this patient group

Application

The recommended dose is:
The solution is applied 1-3 times a day with 5-10 sprays, depending on the extent of the diseased area.
Method of use:
For use on the skin.
The solution is sprayed so that the affected area is covered.
Long-term use for more than 3 weeks is not recommended.
Hold the bottle upright when spraying.
Before the first use, press the spray head several times, only then is the spray bottle ready for use.
Long-term use for more than 3 weeks is not recommended.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
The assessment of side effects is based on the following frequency information:
Very common: more than 1 in 10 people treated.
Common: less than 1 in 10, but more than 1 in 100
people treated. Uncommon: less than 1 in 100, but more than 1 in 1,000 people treated.
Rare : less than 1 in 1,000 but more than 1 in 10,000 people treated
Very rare: less than 1 in 10,000 people treated
Not known: frequency cannot be estimated from the available data
Common: Skin reactions such as inflammatory redness of the skin, itching, burning, rash including the formation of pustules or hives.
Uncommon: hypersensitivity reactions, local allergic reactions (contact dermatitis). When indomethacin is applied to large areas of the skin and used for a long period of time, side effects affecting a specific organ system or the whole body may occur, such as those that sometimes occur when taking medicines containing indomethacin (e.g. serious side effects such as bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, renal dysfunction/renal failure and generalized hypersensitivity reactions).
Rare: Irritation of the respiratory tract if the solution is inhaled
Very rare: In previously stressed patients: shortness of breath due to narrowing of the airways (bronchospasm). Worsening of psoriasis after application of indomethacin to the skin.
composition
The active ingredient is indomethacin.
1 ml (0.8 g) solution (= approx. 12 sprays) contains: 8 mg indomethacin
The other ingredients are isopropyl myristate and 2-propanol.
