• Make sure the silicone tip is firmly seated.
• Insert the silicone tip into the nostril for a period of 3 to a maximum of 5 seconds. (Never press into the nostril with force, otherwise there is a risk of injury.)
• In the case of thick or dried secretions, it is helpful to flush the child's nose with a saline solution before using the device. Your doctor or pharmacist can explain nasal rinsing to you.
• To suck effectively, gently hold the other nostril closed while sucking. After a short break, the process can be gently repeated until the nasal secretion has been completely suctioned out. After that, you should clean the device.
