Expected use:

The OneTouch ^® Verio ^{® system} is calibrated for easy comparison with laboratory methods.

Storage and Handling:

• Store the test strip tube in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 30 ° C (86 ° F), do not place in the refrigerator. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep test strips in their original tube only. Do not transfer them to another container to avoid damage or contamination
• Do not open the test strip tube until you are ready to measure. Only open the tube when removing the test strips
• Close the cap tightly immediately after removing the test strips from the tube. Use each test strip immediately after removal from the tube
• Do not use test strips that are damaged or left open in the air
• When you first open, write the date of use on the tube label (opening date plus 6 months)
• Do not use after the expiration date (printed on the tube label) or use date, whichever is the earlier
• Avoid applying dirt, food or beverages to the test strip
• If you have clean and dry hands, you can touch the test strip over the entire surface
• Do not bend, cut, or otherwise modify the test strip
• Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a test strip that has been coated with blood or control solution
• Make sure your glucose meter and test strips are approximately the same temperature before you start measuring
• Apply only one OneTouch ^® Verio ^® blood sample or control solution to the test strip
• Do not return the test strip back to the tube after measurement
