Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment 5g
Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment with disinfectant effects is suitable for the treatment of non-purulent inflammations of the anterior part of the eye. Ophthalmo-Septonex is used for inflammation of the eyelids and conjunctiva, for corneal damage after removing foreign bodies and after injuries. It can be used for short periods of time during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment can be used by both adults and children.
Dosage
Adults and children apply eye ointment to the conjunctival sac or apply a small amount of eye ointment to the skin of the eyelids 3-5 times a day for a maximum of 14 days. In the current treatment with eye drops, the ointment is usually used overnight.
After applying the ointment to the eye slit, it is advisable to leave the eye closed for 2-3 minutes so that the active substance does not run away with tears and can be absorbed by the cornea and conjunctiva.
Ingredients
The active substance is carbethopendecinium bromide 5 mg in 5 g of eye ointment.
The other ingredients are white Vaseline, sheep wool fat (lanolin), white wax, purified water.
Notice
Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment contains sheep wool fat (lanolin), which may cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).
