Otrivin® 1 nose drops release the blocked nose within 5 minutes and last for up to 12 hours. Prevents irritation of the nasal mucosa.

Otrivin reduces excessive congestion of the nasal mucosa, which quickly releases the stuffy nose. Moisturizing formula also contains soothing substances that help prevent dryness and irritation of the nasal mucosa. Otrivin quickly releases the stuffy nose and relieves breathing.

Otrivin is used to restore the blockage of the nasal congestion caused by colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis, sinusitis. The effect of Otrina comes in minutes and lasts for up to 12 hours. It is well tolerated, even patients with sensitive nasal mucosa.

Composition:

Active substance : Otrivin 0.5% contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg in 1 ml of solution. 
Otrivin 1 contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg in 1 ml of solution. 
 
Excipients:
Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate dihydrate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, sorbitol 70% non-crystallising, purified water.

Dosage:

Adults and children over six years of age (supervised by adults) 3-4 times a day 2-3 drops into each nostril.

Notice:

As with other medicines that reduce mucosal congestion, Otrivin should not be used continuously for more than 7 days (in children 5 days). If the problem persists, consult your doctor. Long-term or excessive use may cause the nose to become clogged or worsened.
