Protection Walker Boot short is a postoperative and rehabilitation orthosis of the ankle without a joint in plantar flexion 0° in a short design. Thanks to the sole with a rocker profile of the cross-section, the orthosis allows a physiological way of walking. The brace is fastened with Velcro.
The orthosis is suitable after surgery of ligaments, soft tissues and tendons, for postoperative and conservative treatment of the talocural joint, dislocated fracture of the talocrural joint, conservative treatment of injuries of the anterior and middle part of the leg and instep, for new fixation of ligaments and dislocation of the calf tendons, for chronic ligament infirmity, further treatment after fractures of the ankle, heel bone and middle ankle and for early functional therapy after conservative or surgical treatment of ruptured Achilles tendon.
