Valerian "Sanova" nerve plus dragees are a traditional herbal medicine to relieve the symptoms of mild nervous tension.
This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated areas of application because it has been used for many years.

Contraindications

Valerian "Sanova" nerve plus dragees should not be taken
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to valerian root extract or lemon balm leaf extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Since there is insufficient data for the use of valerian root extract and lemon balm leaf extract during pregnancy and breastfeeding, use during this time is not recommended.

Valerian "Sanova" Nerve Plus dragees contain lactose (milk sugar), glucose (dextrose) and sucrose (beet sugar)
. Please only take Valerian "Sanova" Nerve Plus dragees after consulting your doctor if you know that you have an intolerance to suffer from certain sugars. 

application

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years:
1 dragee as needed, up to 4 dragees daily.

Method of
administration For oral use. The dragees should be swallowed whole with sufficient non-alcoholic liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Duration of use
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 2 weeks, contact your doctor.

Use in children
Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient experience.

side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea and abdominal cramps have been observed after taking valerian root extracts. The frequency of occurrence is not known.
If hypersensitivity reactions occur, treatment must be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

composition

• The active ingredients are: valerian root
  extract, lemon balm leaf extract 1 dragee contains 100 mg dry extract of valerian root (Valeriana officinalis Lsl, radix, DEV = 3-6 : 1, extracting agent: ethanol 70% V/V) and 90 mg dry extract of lemon balm leaves (Melissa officinalis L. , folium, DEV = 4-6 :1, extraction agent: methanol 30% v/v).
• The other ingredients are:
  Tablet core: spray-dried glucose syrup, silicon dioxide, cellulose, lactose monohydrate, maize starch, talc, stearic acid. Tablet shell: gum arabic, sucrose, Eudragit E 12.5, methyl cellulose, calcium carbonate, povidone, glycerol 85%, sodium copper chlorophyllin (E 141), montan glycol wax.
