Sanova Heumann bronchial tea Solubifix 30 g

Traditional herbal medicinal product to support the clearing of mucus in the respiratory tract. It contains soluble, ready-to-cup extracts of medicinal herbs in powder form.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated areas of application because it has been used for many years.

This medicine is used in adults aged 18 and over.

Contraindications

HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX must not be taken

• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to licorice root, marshmallow root, primula, thyme or other members of the mint family, aniseed or other members of the umbellifer family, anethole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6),
• in diseases of the liver,
• with high blood pressure,
• with reduced serum potassium levels in the blood. 

interactions

Licorice root may counteract the blood pressure-lowering effects of prescribed drugs.

Potassium losses can be increased by taking licorice root preparations at the same time as certain drugs that increase urine output (so-called thiazide or loop diuretics), cortisone or cortisone-like substances (adrenal cortex steroids) and laxatives and other drugs that affect the electrolyte balance.

Potassium deficiency can increase the effect of certain drugs that strengthen the heart muscle (cardiac glycosides) and influence the effect of drugs against cardiac arrhythmias.

The uptake (absorption) of other medicines taken at the same time may be delayed.

Taking HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX with food and drinks
During treatment with HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX, you should not eat food containing liquorice roots (e.g. liquorice) as this can cause serious undesirable effects, e.g. B. Reduction of water excretion by the kidneys, too low potassium content of the blood, high blood pressure and cardiac arrhythmias can occur.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

There are no adequate studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and lactation. For this reason you should not take HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX contains 45 mg glucose, 32 mg sucrose (saccharose) and 19 mg fructose per measuring
spoon. Please only take HEUMANN Bronchial Tea SOLUBIFIX after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from a sugar intolerance. 

application

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults:
1 cup of hot tea 3-6 times a day.

Method of
administration For oral use after reconstitution. Preparation: Pour hot water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 measuring spoon while stirring and sweeten to taste.

Duration of use
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 1 week, contact your doctor.

Long-term use longer than 6 weeks is not recommended.

Use in children and adolescents
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.

side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The frequency of the side effects listed below is given as "not known" because the frequency cannot be estimated from the available data.

Allergy to aniseed or any other ingredient in HEUMANN Bronchialtee SOLUBIFIX can lead to allergic reactions (stomach, intestines, respiratory tract, skin). If you have the corresponding signs, such as B. facial swelling or skin reddening associated with itching, stop taking HEUMANN bronchial tea SOLUBIFIX immediately. Please inform your doctor.

Preparations with liquorice root (liquorice) can lead to high blood pressure, fluid accumulation in the tissue or a reduction in the potassium content in the blood, especially if used for a long time.

There is also the possibility of the occurrence of a non-inflammatory disease of the brain caused by high blood pressure (hypertensive encephalopathy) and cardiac arrhythmias.

The active ingredients are: 1.2 g tea infusion powder (= 1 measuring spoon) contains:
120 mg dry extract of liquorice root (drug-extract ratio (DEV) 3-4 : 1), extraction agent: water,
65 mg dry extract of marshmallow root (drug extract ratio 7−9 : 1), extracting agent: water,
10 mg dry extract of primula root (drug-extract ratio 5−7 : 1), extracting agent: ethanol 60% (m/m),
1.2 mg essential thyme oil.

The other ingredients are:
maltodextrin, glucose syrup (dry matter), gum arabic, anise oil, sucrose (sucrose), fructose, ammonia caramel E 150c.

Note for diabetics:
1 measuring spoon contains approx. 1 g carbohydrates, corresponding to 0.09 BE. The calorie value is 2.3 kcal/g.
