STADALAX is a laxative that belongs to the group of so-called triarylmethane drugs. The preparation is used for the short-term treatment of constipation and in diseases where it is necessary for the stool to be soft and its emptying easy.
Dosage and method of use
Unless your doctor prescribes otherwise, give 1-2 tablets a day to children from 12 years of age and adults. Children aged 6-12 can take 1 tablet a day only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Ingredients
The active ingredient is jebisacodylum 5 mg in 1 coated tablet. Other ingredients of STADALAX are: microcrystalline cellulose, celecephate, liquid glucose syrup, mixture of mono-, di-, triglycerides, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, corn starch, dextrin, virgin castor oil, sucrose, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, talc , montanglycol wax, titanium dioxide.
Contraindication
Do not use the product if you are allergic to bisacodyl or any other component of this product. Furthermore, if you suffer from the following problems, e.g. abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fever. These difficulties can be signs of a serious illness (intestinal obstruction with acceleration of intestinal peristalsis (intestinal movements), ileus, acute inflammation in the abdominal cavity, acute abdominal pain that must be treated surgically, e.g. appendicitis). If you have the above-mentioned symptoms, seek medical help immediately. Also, do not use if you suffer from a disease associated with an imbalance of water and electrolytes (e.g. significant dehydration/dehydration).
