Traditional herbal medicine for clearing mucus in coughs associated with a cold.
This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated areas of application because it has been used for many years.
It is used in adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age.
Contraindications
Tussamag cough syrup should not be taken if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to thyme, another member of the mint family or any of the other ingredients of Tussamag cough syrup listed in Section 6.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
In the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

To take.
Dosing is done with the enclosed measuring cup.
Tussamag cough syrup can be taken undiluted or diluted (e.g. with tea, water).
side effects
Immune system, skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders
Hypersensitivity reactions (including one case of anaphylactic shock and one case of Quincke's edema have been observed. The frequency of occurrence is
not known.
Gastrointestinal disorders Stomach disorders
have been observed. The frequency of occurrence is not known.
composition
What Tussamag cough syrup contains
- - The active ingredient is: 100 g (= 79.37 ml) contain 8 g liquid extract of thyme (Thymi herba, drug-extract ratio (DEV) 1: 1), extraction agent: purified water - ethanol 96% - glycerol 85% ( 18:6:1).
- The other ingredients are: glycerol, sucrose, caramel color (E150), extract of sweet chestnut leaves (contains glucose syrup and potassium sorbate), sodium benzoate (E211), ethanol, purified water.
