Vagisan Lactic Acid 7 suppositories

The medical device Vagisan Lactic Acid in the form of vaginal suppositories helps prevent vaginal infections. Contains a mixture of lactic acid and sodium lactate. It is used to maintain and restore the natural pH level in the vagina (pH 3.8-4.4). It promotes the growth of natural vaginal microflora (lactic acid bacteria, lactobacilli) and acts as a prevention of vaginal infections. Disruption of the acidic vaginal environment (e.g. use of antibiotics, fluctuations in hormone levels during pregnancy and breastfeeding) can lead to an overgrowth of unwanted bacteria in the vagina and thus to the development of a vaginal infection. In women prone to recurrent vaginal infections, vaginal use of lactic acid may help promote self-regulation of pH acid.

Apply as deep as possible into the vagina 1 suppository 1 time per day in the evening before bedtime. The duration of use is usually 5–7 days.

To maintain normal vaginal pH levels on a regular basis, e.g. in women prone to vaginal infections, Vagisan Lactic Acid can be safely used 2-3 times a week over a longer period. It is recommended to wear sanitary pads during the use of the product. The product can also be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Do not use when allergic to any of the ingredients. Not recommended for use during menstruation. If vaginal symptoms do not improve within 8 days, consult your doctor about further use. Keep out of reach of children.
