How long after consumption can be detected from the urine:

Each substance has different breakdown times from the body and it also depends on whether it was a single use of the drug or a regular consumption.

Cocaine

The presence of cocaine alone can be detected from the urine only approximately 3-6 hours after its use. Cocaine metabolites persist in the urine for 3 days, up to 5 days in chronic users.

Marijuana

After a single use, it appears in the urine for 2-4 days. For regular consumers, this period is considerably longer and the presence of the substance is detected for 2-6 weeks.

Opiates

The most commonly used opiates include heroin, codeine or morphine. The urine sample is detectable only about 8 hours after consumption.

Amphetamines

In the urine the substance persists 1 - 3 days after consumption.

Benzodiazepines (tranquillizers)

After occasional use, the presence in the urine can be ascertained about 3 days, for regular consumption up to 6 weeks.

Methadones
The substance is usually found in urine for the first 2-3 days after consumption.
