Zyrtec is a medicine used to treat allergy. It alleviates the nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and helps alleviate symptoms of urticaria. Zyrtec oral drops are for adults and children from 2 years of age.
How to take Zyrtec oral drops:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age use 20 drops once a day. Children aged 6-12 years take 10 drops twice a day. Children aged 2-6 years are given twice a day with 5 drops. For patients with moderate renal impairment, it is recommended to take 10 drops once a day. The length of treatment depends on the type, duration, and duration of your problems.
Composition:
The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg in 1 ml (= 20 drops) of solution.
The other ingredients are glycerol 85%, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, methylparaben (E218), propylparaben (E216), sodium acetate trihydrate, acetic acid 99%, purified water.
Notice:
Zyrtec oral drops contain methylparaben (E218) and propylparaben (E216), which can cause allergic reactions (probably delayed).
