A. Vogel Grippoforce 40 Tablets
Grippoforce is a traditional herbal medicine and is taken to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu-like infections. This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that has been registered exclusively for many years of use for the above-mentioned indications.
This medicine is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. If you don't feel better or even worse after 10 days, contact your doctor.
Contraindications
Do not take Grippoforce:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to echinacea, plants of the daisy family such as calendula, chamomile, arnica or dandelion or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
- in the case of progressive systemic diseases (diseases that affect the entire body or several organs, such as tuberculosis, sarcoidosis),
- in autoimmune diseases (inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue [collagenoses], multiple sclerosis)
- in diseases of the immune system (immune deficiencies such as AIDS, HIV infection),
- in the case of suppressed immune systems (e.g. after organ or bone marrow transplantation, chemotherapy for cancer),
- in diseases of the white blood cells (such as: leukemia or leukemia-like diseases),
- of children under 1 year of age.
Interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. No interaction studies have been conducted. So far, no interactions are known.
Pregnancy and lactation
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. In the absence of sufficient data, the use of this drug in pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
Application
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you're not sure.
- Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 2 – 3 x daily 1 tablet
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data): Hypersensitivity reactions such as rash; Hives; Stevens-Johnson syndrome (severe skin disease with disturbance of the general condition, fever and painful blistering, especially in the mouth, eye and genital area); angioedema of the skin (allergic, painful swelling of the skin and mucous membrane, especially in the facial area); bronchospasm (shortness of breath due to narrowing of the airways); Asthma; anaphylactic shock (allergic (hypersensitivity) reaction, often accompanied by a drop in blood pressure, dizziness, nausea and possibly shortness of breath). Echinacea can cause allergic reactions in people who are prone to it.
Composition
The active ingredient is: Dry residue of a liquid extract of fresh red coneflower herb and fresh red coneflower root
1 tablet contains: 17.7 mg dry residue of a liquid extract of fresh, flowering herb of echinacea (Echinaceae purpureae herba, corresponds to approx. 300-600 mg fresh herb), ratio drug-extractant 1:12, extracting agent ethanol 57.3 % m/m 0.9 mg dry residue of a liquid extract from fresh roots of echinacea (Echinaceae purpureae radix, corresponds to approx. 17-29 mg fresh root), ratio drugextracting agent 1:11, extracting agent ethanol 57.3 % m/m
The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized starch, soy polysaccharides, magnesium stearate
