Uveitis is an inflammation of the middle skin of the eye (uvea). In anterior uveitis, the focus of inflammation is in the front section of the eye in the iris and ciliary body, at the level of the lens and pupil, i.e. directly in the eye. A distinction must be made between this and only superficial conjunctivitis (conjunctivitis). In 30% of anterior uveitis cases, the inflammation flares up again after the symptoms have subsided. This is then referred to as recurrent uveitis.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, taking two tablets of ARONTA 600 mg daily for chronic recurrent anterior uveitis is recommended for at least one year. The tablets can be taken either together or one each in the morning and evening.
