Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age take 1 to 2 tablets 3 times a day. Children aged 6 to 14 years and patients with a body weight of less than 50 kg take 1 tablet 3 times a day. Bromhexine tablets are taken after meals and washed down with sufficient fluid (it is necessary to increase fluid intake during the day).
If the condition does not improve within 5 days, a doctor's consultation is necessary.
Composition
The active substance is bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg in 1 tablet.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, gelatin, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose, calcium carbonate, basic magnesium carbonate hydrate, talc, quinoline yellow (E 104), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 6000, povidone 25, liquid glucose (dry) and carnauba wax.
