Strepfen Orange, sugar-free 8.75 mg - 24 lozenges

Strepfen lozenges relieve sore throat, especially when swallowing, and soothe inflammatory swelling of the throat that accompanies diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx of bacterial or viral origin. They are also used as a supportive treatment in the treatment of tonsillitis and pharyngitis. They dissolve quickly in the mouth (within 5 to 10 minutes) and have a soothing effect after 2 minutes of use. The onset of action, i.e. pain relief and reduction of swelling in the throat, should occur within 22 minutes of taking the lozenge and should persist for 4 to 6 hours.

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1 lozenge (let it slowly dissolve in the mouth) up to 5 times a day at an interval of 3 to 6 hours. It is best to suck the lozenges after eating. If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you get worse, you need to consult a doctor.

The active substance is flurbiprofen (8.75 mg per lozenge).

The other ingredients are macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide (E525), liquid orange flavouring (contains natural and prepared flavouring substances, triacetin (E1518)), levomenthol, acesulfame potassium salt, maltitol solution (E965), isomalt (E953).

Do not use alcoholic beverages during treatment with Strepfen Sugar Free Orange Lozenges. Strepfen Sugar-Free Orange contains isomalt and maltitol solution. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine. Concomitant use of blood thinners, high blood pressure or pain medications (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) may affect their effect.
