Strepfen spray temporarily relieves acute sore throat and scratching in adults from 18 years of age. It helps relieve swallowing problems and soothes throat swelling. The solution has a honey and lemon flavor.
Dosage
Adults will spray one dose (3 sprays) into the back of the throat as needed every 3-6 hours, maximum 5 doses within 24 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor.
Composition
The active substance is flurbiprofen 8.75 mg per dose (3 puffs), which corresponds to flurbiprofen 16.2 mg/ml.
Other ingredients are betadex, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, citric acid monohydrate, methyl paraben (E 218), propyl paraben (E 216), sodium hydroxide, honey flavouring (contains natural and prepared flavourings and propylene glycol (E 1520)), lemon flavouring (contains natural and prepared flavourings and propylene glycol (E 1520)), trimethylisopropylbutanamide, saccharin sodium, hydroxypropyl betadex, purified water.
Notification
Not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. For oral use only. Strepfen spray contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propylparahydroxybenzoate (E216), which may cause allergic reactions (probably delayed). Do not take alcoholic beverages during treatment, as this may increase the risk of bleeding in the stomach or intestines.
