Ambroxol AL 75 retard facilitates coughing by liquefying mucus accumulated in the airways. The active substance is released gradually from the capsules to ensure a more uniform level in the body. Ambroxol AL 75 retard is used in acute respiratory diseases associated with difficult coughing up and for cough . Ambroxol AL 75 retard capsules can be used by adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1 capsule once a day, preferably in the evening. Drink down with plenty of liquid. Do not take this medicine for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor. Preparations with a lower content of active substance are intended for children under 12 years of age.
Composition:
The active substance is ambroxol hydrochloride 75 mg per prolonged-release capsule.
The other ingredients are gelatin, povidone 30, granular sugar (containing sucrose and corn starch), shellac, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), indigo carmine (E 171), yellow iron oxide (E 172).
