Zentiva DIOZEN 500mg 120 tablets
Diozene is a product that increases venous wall tension and vascular resistance. It reduces swelling and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
It is used in adult patients for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the legs, which is manifested by feeling of weight in the legs, pain, nocturnal leg cramps, swelling, changes related to tissue nutritional disorders such as increased vulnerability, reduced healing ability, impaired growth nails, hair fading, leg ulcer. In the event of signs of limb nutrition disorders or rapid development of limb edema accompanied by pain, always consult your doctor for treatment as these may be signs of a severe disability.
It is also used to treat hemorrhoids (ie, knotted venous enlargements in the rectum). Haemorrhoids are usually caused by a long-term increase in pressure on the veins in the area of the rectum, which leads to enlargement, swelling, bleeding and prolapse of the veins in the lower part of the rectum. Haemorrhoids are accompanied by itching, pain or bleeding in the rectum and difficulty in emptying.
The pack contains 120 film-coated tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Recommended dose:
- For chronic venous insufficiency: take 2 tablets once a day or 1 tablet twice a day at noon and in the evening with food.
- For hemorrhoids: 2 tablets 3 times a day with food for the first 4 days, then 2 tablets twice a day at noon and in the evening with food for the next 3 days. Then take 2 tablets once a day or 1 tablet twice a day at noon and in the evening with a meal.
Swallow the tablet with a glass of water. The score line is merely to facilitate division of the tablet for ease of swallowing, not to divide it into equal portions.
Duration of treatment:
Chronic venous insufficiency :
If your symptoms do not improve or even get worse within 15 days, you should consult your doctor. The product can be used for up to 3 months without consulting your doctor.
Hemorrhoids :
If the symptoms of the disease do not improve or even get worse within 7 days, you should consult your doctor. If the symptoms of hemorrhoids do not disappear within 15 days, you should consult your doctor.
Ingredients
Diozen contains the active substance diosminum micronisatum. Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg diosmin micronisate.
The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin, sodium starch glycolate type A, talc, magnesium stearate. The coating of the tablet contains hypromellose 2910, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, yellow iron oxide (E 172), glycerol, red iron oxide (E 172), sodium lauryl sulfate.
