Thiamine Drugs are used in adults and children to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency conditions such as central and peripheral nervous disorders, mental illness, muscular disorders accompanied by muscle weakness, convulsions, heart pounding and heart weakness, and in disturbed conditions nutrition in alcoholics and severe infections, treatment with some antibiotics and chemotherapeutics.
It can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Talk to your doctor about the suitability of the medicine for your condition.
Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Adults usually take 1 tablet 1-3 times a day.
Children are given 1/2 tablet daily.
Ingredients
The active substance is thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) 50 mg per 1 tablet. The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, aluminum stearate, gelatin, talc.
Contraindication
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to thiamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.
The product is not intended for children under 3 years.
