Loceryl Antifungal Nail Polish is a medicine used to treat fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails. The active substance contained in Loceryl, amorolfine, inhibits the growth of the fungi and kills them.
Loceryl is effective against a wide variety of fungi that are sensitive to amorolfine, such as yeasts, skin fungi and moulds.
However, bacteria are not sensitive to Loceryl.
Loceryl Antifungal Nail Lacquer is suitable for use in adults and adolescents aged 13 and over.
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 6 months, contact your doctor

application

For local use. For application to the affected nails. Apply Loceryl Antifungal Nail Polish to affected fingernails or toenails once a week.

Cosmetic nail polishes can be applied only after a 10-minute break after applying Loceryl antifungal nail polish.
Before using the bottle again, remove residues of varnish or layers of cosmetic varnish on the nails and file your nails again. Clean your nails with the swab provided and reapply Loceryl Antifungal Nail Polish as directed.

Duration of treatment

The duration of the usage will be decided by the medicating doctor. Fungal infections are often very stubborn. You must therefore use Loceryl antifungal nail polish without interruption and until the diseased nails have grown back completely healthy. The time required for this is generally 6 months, depending on the degree of infestation and localization.
Due to a lack of experience, children and adolescents under the age of 13 should not be treated with Loceryl.
