Mepilex Ag is a foam coating designed for moderately exuding acute or chronic injuries, such as shin ulcers or burns, for which antimicrobial activity is indicated. Mepilex Ag is a Safetac coating that has been shown to minimize pain and skin damage when changing covers. The dressing inactivates pathogens occurring in the wound within 30 minutes and its prolonged antimicrobial effect lasts up to 7 days.
