Panadol for children strawberry oral suspension 100 ml
Panadol for children contains paracetamol, a painkiller (analgesic) and a fever-reducing agent (antipyretic). It has a strawberry flavor.
Panadol for children is used to reduce the fever that accompanies the flu, colds, infectious diseases of childhood (eg measles, rubella, chickenpox, measles, mumps) and to reduce the fever after vaccination.
Panadol for children is also suitable for relieving mild to moderate pain associated with tooth cutting, toothache, headache or sore throat accompanied by inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.
Panadol for children is suitable for children from 3 months to 12 years.
To reduce fever after vaccination, it can be given to children from 2 months of age.
Paracetamol is rapidly absorbed after administration, the effect appears within 30 minutes, peaks approximately 2 hours after administration and resolves within 4 hours.
The package size is 100 ml.
Dosage and method of use
Always use Panadol for children exactly as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
The product is intended for oral administration (oral administration).
Shake the bottle before use.
Always give your child the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed to improve symptoms.
If your baby is born premature, talk to your doctor before giving Panadol to your baby.
Children from 3 months to 12 years:
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, use the table to determine the correct dose for your child's weight. If you are not sure about your child's body weight, determine the dose according to your child's age.
The single dose for children from 3 months to 12 years is 10-15 mg / kg.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Taking higher than recommended doses may lead to a risk of severe liver damage. Do not administer together with other preparations containing paracetamol.

The product can be administered repeatedly as needed with a dose interval of preferably 6 hours. The minimum interval between two doses is 4 hours. Do not give more than 4 single doses in 24 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 60 mg / kg body weight.
Do not give this medicine to a child for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor. If the symptoms of the disease persist, or if new symptoms appear, such as severe sore throat, cough, severe headache, rash or vomiting, see a doctor, as this may be a more serious disease.
Children from 2 to 3 months:
They can only take the medicine to reduce the fever after vaccination. The recommended single dose is 2.5 ml. A maximum of 2 doses are given at least 6 hours apart. If fever persists after the second dose of Panadol for children, a doctor should be consulted to determine further treatment.
Ingredients
Panadol for children contains the active substance paracetamol. One ml of suspension contains 24 mg paracetamol.
Excipients xanthan gum (E 415), strawberry flavor (contains natural and synthetically prepared flavorings, flavorings identical to natural, propylene glycol, benzyl alcohol), crystallising sorbitol 70%, maltitol solution, methylparaben sodium (E 219), sodium salt ethylparaben (E 215), sodium propylparaben (E 217), malic acid (for pH adjustment), anhydrous citric acid (E 330), sorbitol (E 420), purified water.
